Isn’t it funny how you come across people, and all of a sudden you know exactly why they came into your life?

Sometimes it will because you need their love, encouragement or support.

Sometimes they will need the same.

Sometimes you both do.

It’s funny.  I used to be painfully shy.  No really.  So shy that people would later tell me they thought that I was “stuck up” because I wouldn’t talk to them.

I couldn’t.

I have been this way my entire life, and let’s just say that I’m not a spring chicken.

But about 9 years ago I started a business.  That meant that I HAD to go out and talk to people!  Talk about hard! Not only did I have to talk to strangers, but I had to convince them to purchase services from my company!

It took several painful years, but I eventually was able to not only speak to people one on one, I also got to the point of speaking in front of small groups.

Well, then I had to speak in front of large groups.  Really large groups!

I still don’t do that well, but isn’t it interesting that no matter how old we are, we can always learn new things?

Well, recently I found myself pushed in a new direction – to start a YouTube channel.  Not only was I speaking to a large group, I was speaking to whoever wanted to listen on the internet!  Talk about pushing my boundaries!!!

This is where it gets back to people coming into your life for a reason.

I NEVER would have considered putting myself out there.  EVER!

But a new friend came along and told me that people would be interested.  In me???

Well, I guess she was right.

And in the process, I have a new friend.  And we are there to love, support, and encourage each other in whatever life brings our way.
